The Outdoors

Le Mouret features extensive grounds, with plenty of space to explore. To make the most of the established landscape, we've created wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy.

The Grounds

The house is nestled in 25 acres of glorious countryside. There are two meadows of beautiful Spring wildflowers, with a small stream (named 'Mouret'!) at the bottom. The farm crops within the surrounding fields rotate each year, between breathtaking sunflowers (plentiful throughout the region every season), wheat and soy.

Our boutique vineyard borders the oak lined driveway to the property, with a rose garden, an ancient well and formal gardens to the front and rear. Parking is available for multiple cars under the shelter of the main barns.

The Swimming Pool

A newly built 12 x 6 metre heated, saltwater pool with natural stone surround. It has an electric cover for safety and convenience, and a brand new outdoor shower and changing area/WC. There are pool toys and floats available, as well as large luxury towels. There are plenty of sun loungers, as well as a daybed.

Outdoor Games

There is outdoor table tennis to enjoy, as well as a traditional French boules court. Tennis can be arranged for you at a nearby club if requested, and we have a selection of traditional lawn games at the property, such as croquet, badminton and quoits.

Fire Pits and Outdoor Dining

There are three outdoor dining options: on the terrace in front of the kitchen, at the poolside dining table, or the sunset retreat with fire-pit next to fields at the front of the property. The Abri is a shaded outdoor space by the pool, linked to the Studio providing access to the bar and fridge.

There is a large feature firepit available with seating for six, perfect for stargazing or roasting marshmallows into the evening. There is a large gas barbecue with tools also available.
